Our Story

Founded by Dr Rahma Targett following her own experience with postpartum hair loss, the journey began with a deeply personal challenge - one that quickly revealed a broader issue within the industry.

Despite the number of products available, there was a clear absence of solutions that were both clinically effective and safe enough to recommend with confidence. Treatments were often polarising, either reliant on harsh synthetic ingredients with potential side effects, or positioned as natural alternatives without the formulation strength to deliver real, lasting results.

Faced with these limitations, and unable to find a solution she could trust for herself or her patients, a new direction became necessary. What began as a search for answers evolved into years of research, formulation, and refinement, guided by both medical insight and a commitment to a more considered approach to hair restoration.

StranDr is sulphate-free and formulated in its purest, most active form. Because we prioritise scalp health and nutrient delivery over artificial aesthetics, you won’t see heavy suds.

How to use: Dispense into your palm, add a splash of water, and rub your hands together to activate the formula before massaging it directly into your scalp.

Many traditional serums use heavy oils or silicones that can coat the hair shaft and clog follicles, potentially hindering hair growth. StranDr utilises a “Skin-Care-for-Scalp” base of Sodium Hyaluronate and Propanediol. This ensures our active ingredients are water-soluble, meaning they are absorbed efficiently into the scalp without leaving behind any greasy or pore-clogging residue.

Yes. StranDr was designed with a medical-grade approach to scalp care. We avoid known high-risk or restricted ingredients, focusing instead on gentle, hydrating, and active botanical ingredients. As every scalp is unique, we recommend patch-testing on a small area of your skin first. If any irritation develops, please discontinue use and consult your GP.
